TYAZHMASH will supply equipment for PAO NOVATEK

February 11, 2019

As a part of consortium, JSC TYAZHMASH has concluded the agreement with Uralmashplant JSC on production and supply of five heavy-duty cranes for Offshore Superfacility Construction Yard (OSCY) in Kola Bay (NOVATEK-Murmansk LLC). The agreement price is more than 1 bln roubles. Obligations will be executed by 2020.

OSCY is a part of Arctic LNG 2 project being implemented by PAO NOVATEK in Murmansk region. The project provides manufacturing, storing, shipping of liquefied natural gas and stable gas condensate. The unique OSCY is being constructed for production of structural elements necessary for assembly of processing lines modules for floating plant.

In January, Uralmashplant JSC won tender of NOVATEK-Murmansk LLC on supply and production of 64 overhead cranes with lifting capacity from 10 to 300 tons. For project execution, the consortium of Uralmashplant JSC, TYAZHMASH, and PC ASK has been organized. The project is being implemented with support of Gasprombank — the main strategic partner of Uralmashplant JSC.

Under the project, JSC TYAZHMASH will produce 5 heavy-duty cranes with lifting capacity of 300 tons, deliver them to the destination point, and render services on erection supervision. Cranes developed by Uralmashplant JSC will be equipped with two load trolleys with lifting capacity of 2×125 tons and 150/10 tons. The design length of longitudinal girders is 61.5 m, overall weight of crane assembly is about 680 tons. The cranes will be used for loading and tilting of solid structures in final assembly workshop as well as for these structures moving between manufacturing lines.
