May 10, 2017

Earlier this month, representatives from Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) visited JSC TYAZHMASH. The visit was devoted to international project on construction of the 3rd and 4th power units of Kudankulam NPP in India.

Under the agreement, TYAZHMASH will equip both power units with polar cranes and core melt localization devices. Various technical issues were discussed during the visit.

Leaders of JSC TYAZHMASH conducted an excursion on the main production workshops of the plant. The representatives from NPCIL highly appreciated TYAZHMASH production facilities. More than ten years ago they visited TYAZHMASH for the first time: the plant equipped the 1st and 2nd power units of Kudankulam NPP with hydraulic shock absorbers.
