RusHydro and TYAZHMASH signed cooperation agreement at St. Petersburg Economic Forum

RusHydro and TYAZHMASH concluded cooperation agreement at St. Petersburg Economic Forum. The document was signed by Chairman of the Management Board — Director General of RusHydro Nikolay Shulginov and Director General of JSC TYAZHMASH Andrey Trifonov.

The agreement provides addressing the issue on typing the product range of hydraulic power equipment for small HPPs produced by TYAZHMASH. Each power site of small HPP requires individual approach at designing of equipment and hydraulic engineering structures. Certainly, typing of equipment range will lead to significant decrease in one of the main cost items at the construction of small HPPs — cost of equipment. The investment attractiveness of projects will increase.

RusHydro plans to involve TYAZHMASH in delivery of goods, execution of works, rendering of services for implementation of investment projects on a competitive basis. TYAZHMASH undertakes an obligation to assist RusHydro and its subsidiary companies in formulations of technical and commercial proposals for planning costs on implementation of investment projects in the sphere of small hydropower.

RusHydro and TYAZHMASH have been successfully cooperating for a long time. In recent 10 years TYAZHMASH has supplied hydraulic turbines for Gelbakhskaya HPP (Dagestan), Golovnaya Zaramagskaya HPP (North Ossetia-Alania), Kashkhatau HPP (Kabardino-Balkaria). TYAZHMASH has produced equipment for upgrading of Kamskaya HPP (Perm Krai) as well. Besides, TYAZHMASH has manufactured and supplied equipment for Zhigulyovskaya and Volzhskaya HPPs, Zagorskaya pumped storage station. In recent five years TYAZHMASH has performed repair works and produced spare parts for

Miatlinskaya, Kamskaya, Golovnaya Zaramagskaya, Kashkhatay, Volzhskaya, Gunibskaya, and Chiryurtskaya HPPs. Since 2013, TYAZHMASH in cooperation with RusHydro has participated in implementation of power development program in the Far East. JSC TYAZHMASH provides thermal power facilities with advanced efficient equipment for fuel preparing.
