In 1980-s PJSC «TYAZHMASH» was the first enterprise in the Soviet Union resuming the manufacture of hydraulic turbines for small hydropower industry. Today we have great experience in hydraulic turbines supply for small hydro power plants in Russia, Commonwealth of Independent States and far-abroad countries.

Nowadays we designed a number of universal Francis hydro units for small hydro power plants, with power from 300 KW and more, which can be used at heads from 15 up to 215 m, meant for operation in energy system and for isolated consumer. Universal hydro units can be used not only for building of new hydro power plants, but also for modernization of already existing HPPs or restoration of the preserved ones.

Features of designed hydro units:

supply in complete set, generally, with hydraulic turbine, generator, automatic control system and pre-turbine valve;
ecological cleanness of supplied equipment, that excludes oil entry in water;
supplying in monoblock or large-block variant, that allows reducing of costs on installation and terms of putting in operation;
usage of modern decisions and materials in hydraulic turbine design, which improve producing characteristics of hydraulic turbines.
